With the U.S. National Team coming to San Jose on June 2 to play China, we think it's a great time to celebrate! Please join Soccer Silicon Valley and Earthquakes Soccer at the Britannia Arms Downtown, 173 West Santa Clara Street, after the game from 7:30 to 10:30* for a soccer fiesta. Tickets are $30 and will get you admission to the party on the patio, a hamburger or veggie burger cooked on the Brit's outdoor grill, French fries, cole slaw, barbecue beans, a coupon for a drink (beer, wine, well drink, or soda), and a raffle ticket. We'll have a silent auction for some great items, including autographed jerseys and signed A's baseballs, and raffle prizes will include A's tickets. Meet David Alioto and Alexa Jontulovich of Earthquakes Soccer, and join with SSV and other fans as we celebrate the past, present, and future of soccer in San Jose. The U.S. National Team will also be invited, so we're hoping that we will see some players there as well. Please note the deadline to order tickets has passed and we are sold out! Thank you! If you would still like to come to the party, all we ask is a $10 donation for admission to the patio—you can buy your own food and drinks. (Note: You will not be receiving tickets in the mail. Instead, we'll check you in at the door with our records from the PayPal transaction.) For your convenience, here are a map showing the downtown Brit and a map with driving directions from Spartan Stadium. This Downtown San Jose parking map may also be useful — the Brit is adjacent to San Pedro Square. Proceeds from this event will go towards furthering the mission of Soccer Silicon Valley.
*The Brit's restaurant closes at 10:00, which means that those under the age of 21 will need to leave at that time.
